Blueberry & Almond Breakfast Smoothie

Try our creamy summery BLUEBERRY AND ALMOND SMOOTHIE - the perfect healthy breakfast or a snack. Top this easy blueberry smoothie with our Lemon & Almond Granola and some fresh blueberries! Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS


Smoothie

  • 1 large banana

  • 1/2 cup oats (use gluten free oats for gluten free smoothie)

  • 1 Tbsp flax seed (optional)

  • 1 cup milk of choice (use plant milk for vegan or dairy free smoothie)

  • 1/4 cup plain yoghurt (use plant yoghurt for dairy free or vegan smoothie)

  • 1 cup frozen blueberries

  • 1/4 tsp almond extract

  • 2 Tbsp almond butter


Serving suggestion:


INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.

  2. Pour into bowls, top with our Lemon & Almond Granola and some fresh blueberries or any other desired toppings. Alternatively, pour into a tall bottle and take with you on-the-go!


RECIPE NOTES


* Smoothie can be made-ahead and stored in the fridge.

* Smoothie is best served cold or at room temperature.


To make vegan: Use plant milk and plant yoghurt.

To make gluten free: Use gluten free oats.

To make dairy free: Use plant milk and plant yoghurt.
