INGREDIENTS
Smoothie
1 large banana
1/2 cup oats (use gluten free oats for gluten free smoothie)
1 Tbsp flax seed (optional)
1 cup milk of choice (use plant milk for vegan or dairy free smoothie)
1/4 cup plain yoghurt (use plant yoghurt for dairy free or vegan smoothie)
1 cup frozen blueberries
1/4 tsp almond extract
2 Tbsp almond butter
Serving suggestion:
fresh blueberries
INSTRUCTIONS
Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
Pour into bowls, top with our Lemon & Almond Granola and some fresh blueberries or any other desired toppings. Alternatively, pour into a tall bottle and take with you on-the-go!
RECIPE NOTES
* Smoothie can be made-ahead and stored in the fridge.
* Smoothie is best served cold or at room temperature.
To make vegan: Use plant milk and plant yoghurt.
To make gluten free: Use gluten free oats.
